Templates are reusable layouts for Pin Maker and Automations. A template set groups layouts you want to use together, such as designs for one website or brand.

Start from a Pinsearch template

Open Create → Templates and browse Pinsearch templates. Add a layout you like to an existing custom set or create New set. This creates your editable copy; the original Pinsearch layout stays available. Open the copied template to adjust its text, photo slots, colors and layout. Use New template for a blank design.

Manage sets and templates

Choose a set from Your custom templates. The set’s options let you rename or delete it. Template options let you edit, duplicate, move it to another set or delete it. Deleting a set also removes its templates. Designs you have already made are not changed by renaming or deleting a set, but future Pin Maker batches and Automations need a valid set to use.
Check any automation using a custom set before deleting that set or its templates. Future runs may no longer have suitable designs available.

Use a custom set

In Pin Maker, open the template selector and choose your set. Enable the layouts you want in the mix. In an automation, choose the set under Design Pins. A layout is used only when the source has enough photos for its slots. One template with many slots will not fit every post; include a few simpler layouts in the same set.

Free access

Free can save one custom template. More custom templates require paid or Lifetime access. Selecting a template does not use article credits. See the template editor.
