Credits pay for article creation and article image regeneration. Research, Pin Maker designs, Pin copy, Pinterest publishing and automation scheduling do not deduct article credits, although plan allowances can still limit those actions.

Credit costs

For example, a 10-idea topic article costs 20 credits. Adding more ideas increases the cost, even if you describe the topic in the same number of words.

Two balances

From your plan contains subscription credits. Bought contains purchased credits, including Lifetime starter credits and credit packs. Billing shows both and their combined total. Subscription credits are used before purchased credits. Purchased credits do not expire and do not count toward your subscription rollover cap. Free starts with 20 one-time credits. Subscriptions refill monthly; Lifetime starts with 5,000 credits without monthly refills.

Check usage

Open Billing to see the balance and credit activity. Entries explain deductions, refills, purchases, refunds and adjustments. Check the action and time when a balance changes unexpectedly. A credit balance does not mean every tool is unlimited. Free action allowances and Pinterest publishing limits are enforced separately. See rollover and refills and failed-generation refunds.
