Use this guide when Pin Explorer does not show the results you expected. Most issues can be fixed by broadening the keyword, checking Pin URLs, selecting rows before saving or exporting, or confirming your account access.

Pin Explorer sends you to Billing

If opening Pin Explorer sends you to Billing, your account may not have active access. Pin Explorer requires active access through a free trial, active subscription, or lifetime license. Credit packs add generation credits, but they do not replace account access.

No keyword results appeared

If a keyword search does not return pins:
  • Check the spelling.
  • Try a broader keyword.
  • Avoid very long phrases at the start.
  • Search a topic that is common on Pinterest.
  • Wait a moment and try again.
For example, search bedroom decor before small moody guest bedroom shelf styling ideas.

Search failed

If Pinsearch shows a fetch or retry error:
  1. Wait a moment.
  2. Run the search again.
  3. Try a broader keyword.
  4. Refresh the page.
  5. Contact support if the same issue keeps happening.

URL mode did not return a pin

If Explore via URL does not return the pin you expected:
  • Use a Pinterest Pin URL, not a board, profile, idea, or website URL.
  • Paste one URL per line.
  • Remove extra text before or after the URL.
  • Try one URL first.
  • Check whether the pin is unavailable, private, removed, or blocked from being read.
URL mode may return the pins it can read and skip pins it cannot read.

Get Pin Stats keeps loading

If Get Pin Stats stays in the loading state:
  1. Wait a little longer, especially if you pasted several URLs.
  2. Try a single Pin URL.
  3. Refresh the page.
  4. Paste the URLs again.

Save is disabled

Save stays disabled until you select at least one pin row. Check the box beside a pin, then click Save again.

Selected Pins export is disabled

The Selected Pins export option needs at least one selected row. If you do not want to select rows, use All Pins instead.

Annotations show 0 volume

An annotation with 0 in brackets is not necessarily broken. It can mean Pinsearch did not find estimated volume for that label. The label can still be useful for understanding how Pinterest describes the pin.

View Annotations says search volumes are loading

When you open annotations, Pinsearch may need a moment to fetch estimated volume. If the modal keeps loading:
  1. Wait a few seconds.
  2. Close and reopen View Annotations.
  3. Try another pin.
  4. Retry later if Pinterest data is temporarily unavailable.

The linked article does not open

If the external-link icon does not open the destination:
  • Check whether your browser blocked a new tab.
  • Try again.
  • The destination website may be unavailable.
  • The pin may no longer have a reachable destination.

Copy Pin URL did not work

If Copy Pin URL does not copy:
  1. Try the action again.
  2. Check whether your browser blocked clipboard access.
  3. Open the pin on Pinterest and copy the URL from the address bar.
