If you connect more than one WordPress site, choose a default destination so Pinsearch knows which site to preselect in the Article Editor. You can still choose a different site for a specific article before publishing.

How the default works

The first WordPress site you add is set as the default automatically. In Settings > WordPress, the default site shows a Default label. The right-side setup panel also summarizes the current Default destination.

Change the default site

1

Open WordPress settings

In Pinsearch, open Settings and select WordPress.
2

Edit the site

Find the site you want to make default and click Edit.
3

Set it as default

Turn on Set as default site.
4

Save the change

Click Save Changes.
When you set one site as default, Pinsearch removes the default setting from the other connected sites.

Use a different site for one article

The default only controls the starting selection. When you are in the Article Editor:
  1. Open the article.
  2. Find the Publish panel.
  3. Use Site to choose a different connected WordPress site.
  4. Choose the publishing Status.
  5. Click Send to WordPress when ready.

When to change the default

Change the default if:
  • You publish most articles to a different site now.
  • You added a new main blog.
  • You connected a staging site first, then added your live site.
  • You manage multiple WordPress sites for different brands.
