# Plans and billing overview

> Understand Pinsearch plans, billing settings, and where to manage your subscription.

Use **Billing** when you want to choose a plan, manage an existing subscription, buy lifetime access, or top up your credits.

Pinsearch plans are built around two things:

* **Access:** Whether you can use Pinsearch tools.
* **Credits:** The balance used by AI creation actions such as article generation and image regeneration.

## Where to manage billing

Open **Billing** from the Pinsearch sidebar.

The **Plans & Billing** page shows:

* Your current subscription, trial, or lifetime license.
* Your plan status, such as **Active**, **Trial**, **Paused**, **Past Due**, or **Cancelled**.
* Subscription actions, when available.
* Monthly and yearly plan options.
* The lifetime offer, when available.

Open **Settings** and select **Credits & Usage** when you want to check your credit balance, recent activity, next refill date, or credit pack options.

## Access options

Pinsearch can be unlocked by:

* A free trial.
* An active Basic, Plus, or Pro subscription.
* A lifetime license.

Credit packs add more credits, but they do not unlock Pinsearch by themselves. You still need active access through a trial, subscription, or lifetime license to spend those credits.

## Subscription plans

Basic, Plus, and Pro include the same core Pinsearch tools. The main difference is how much publishing room you get each month.

| Plan  | Monthly credits | Best fit                                            |
| ----- | --------------: | --------------------------------------------------- |
| Basic |             600 | Part-time creators and smaller publishing schedules |
| Plus  |           1,200 | Creators publishing multiple times a week           |
| Pro   |           2,400 | Agencies, client work, or several sites             |

Every subscription plan includes Keyword Finder, Pin Explorer, Profile Explorer, Projects, WordPress publishing, and AI creation tools.

## Lifetime access

The lifetime license is a one-time option for creators who prefer access without a recurring subscription.

Lifetime includes:

* Permanent Pinsearch access.
* 5,000 starter credits.
* The ability to buy credit packs when you need more credits.

Lifetime does not include a monthly subscription refill.

## Credit packs

Credit packs are one-time top-ups. They are useful when you need extra room for a busy content month, a launch, or a batch of articles.

Purchased credit pack credits:

* Stay on your account until used.
* Sit outside your subscription rollover cap.
* Are used after your subscription credits.
* Can work with active subscriptions, free trials, or lifetime access.

## What to check before choosing a plan

Choose based on your publishing pace:

* If you publish a few articles per week, start with **Basic**.
* If you publish often and want more headroom, choose **Plus**.
* If you manage several sites, client work, or high-volume publishing, choose **Pro**.
* If you prefer paying once and topping up only when needed, consider **Lifetime**.
