# Free trial access and what happens when it ends

> Understand Pinsearch free trial access, trial end dates, and upgrade prompts.

The Pinsearch free trial gives new users temporary access so they can explore the product before choosing a plan.

During the trial, you can use Pinsearch tools and test the research-to-publishing workflow.

## What the free trial includes

The free trial includes:

* 7 days of Pinsearch access.
* 60 welcome credits.
* Access to the main app while the trial is active.

Some premium keyword data may still require a paid subscription or lifetime license.

## See your trial end date

    If your trial is active and you do not have a paid plan yet, Pinsearch shows **You are on a free trial**.

## What happens when the trial ends

When the trial ends, access-required tools may send you to **Billing**.

To keep using Pinsearch, choose a subscription plan or lifetime license.

## What happens to trial credits

Trial credits are welcome credits. They help you test credit-using tools during the trial.

If you upgrade to a paid subscription, your subscription plan controls future monthly refills.

If you buy lifetime access, Pinsearch adds lifetime starter credits to your purchased credit balance.

## Upgrade before the trial ends

To upgrade:

1. Open **Billing**.
2. Review Basic, Plus, Pro, or Lifetime.
3. Click **Subscribe** or **Buy lifetime**.
4. Complete checkout.

After checkout, refresh Pinsearch if the plan does not appear immediately.

## If your trial ended and you cannot open a feature

Open **Billing** and choose a plan.

If you already paid but still see a billing prompt, refresh Pinsearch and check your plan status on **Billing**.
