# Free plan and usage limits

> Understand daily limits, monthly allowances, starter credits and upgrades.

The Free plan has no time limit and does not require a card. You can explore the research, creation and publishing tools with smaller allowances.

## Free allowances

| Visible research results | First 10 keywords, 12 Pins, and 10 profile Pins and boards; additional results are blurred. |
| Pin Maker downloads | 5 Pins a month; one post per batch. |
| Pin Titles & Description | 10 generations a month. |
| Blog Articles | 20 one-time starter credits. |
| Projects | 1 Project, with up to 20 keywords and 20 Pins. |
| Custom templates | 1 saved custom template. |
| WordPress sites | 1 connected site. |
| Pinterest Publishing | 1 account, up to 1 Pin a day, 4 Pins scheduled a month, and 20 Pins waiting in Drafts and Queue combined. |
| Automations | Build flows and run one test in total; recurring runs require paid or Lifetime access. |
| Claude and ChatGPT connection | Paid or Lifetime access required. |

## Resets and starter credits

Open **Billing** and check **Free plan usage** for remaining allowances and reset times. Daily limits reset at midnight in your account's time zone. Monthly allowances have their own displayed reset date. The automation test allowance is one-time and does not reset.

The 20 starter credits are a one-time balance, rather than a monthly refill. Article generation uses credits according to the number of ideas or images you choose.

## Credits and upgrades are different

You can buy credit packs on Free to create more articles. A credit pack adds credits without removing Free-plan research, download, scheduling or automation limits.

## When a limit is reached

Read the message to see whether it is a daily action limit, monthly allowance or saved-item cap. Wait for an allowance to reset, reduce saved items when appropriate, or upgrade. Do not delete useful work to solve a daily search limit; those are separate limits.
