# Upload images inside the Article Editor

> Upload supported image files into an article draft from the Pinsearch Article Editor.

You can add your own images to a generated article from inside the Article Editor.

This is useful when you want to replace a generated image, add a product photo, include your own Pinterest-ready visual, or support a section with a more accurate image.

## Supported image files

Pinsearch currently supports:

* JPEG images.
* PNG images.
* WebP images.

Each uploaded image must be **10 MB or smaller**.

## Access requirement

Image uploads require active Pinsearch access.

If your account does not currently have access, the upload may fail with an access message.

## After uploading

Open the **Image** tab in the Publish panel and review the new image.

Add:

* **Alt text** so the image is accessible and easier to understand.
* **Caption** if you want caption text to travel with the WordPress export.

If the uploaded image should be the main article image, select it and click **Feature**.

## If upload fails

Check these first:

* The file is JPEG, PNG, or WebP.
* The file is 10 MB or smaller.
* Your Pinsearch account has active access.
* Your internet connection is stable.

If the same image keeps failing, try compressing it or saving it again as JPEG or PNG.
